
Ralph Chicorel started collecting comics since he was 8, collecting all range of marvel comics, from batman to the human torch!
The now 78 year old man quoted, "I relished and treasured them, and also carefully turning the pages when reading."
His collection of comics from the "golden age" ranging from the late 1930s and throughout 1940s are said to attract 500k on the upcoming auction this Thurday at Heritage Auction Galleries!
"Golden Age" comics are extremely rare, known that 20-200 exists on average.
So all those comic fanatics-- keep your comics in excellent care!
Here are tips:
- don't eat while you read it,
- no exposure to Light, moisture & heat,
- keep them in plastic bags.
I wonder if my collection of Archies will be valuable when I'm 78? haha. well its always good to hope, even though my collections consists of ripped and grease-smudged pages! ;)
